The Founders Arena is a unique and first of its kind “go-to-market” Accelerator specifically for WealthTech companies looking to scale across the global WealthTech market.  If you want to partner with or sell to existing wealth management firms, then you are welcome to the WealthTech Accelerator at the Founders Arena.

The Founders Arena also provides strategic guidance to the founders on navigating and de-risking these opportunities to ensure fruitful conversations that lead to tangible outcomes.

Program FAQs

  • The Founders Arena (TFA) is a groundbreaking public-private initiative based in Arlington, Texas, with a central mission of fostering innovation in WealthTech and driving local development and innovation across the City of Arlington. TFA launched The WealthTech Accelerator in September 2023 to support revenue generating startups seeking to innovate the wealth management industry. The 16-week program is designed to support and accelerate the growth of selected WealthTech startups by providing them access to resources, mentorship, networking opportunities, and investors.

  • The Founders Arena WealthTech Accelerator is designed for companies that are post-revenue and operating in the early to mid-stages of their development, typically ranging from Seed to Series A funding rounds. At a minimum, we are seeking companies that have successfully cleared the due diligence process with relevant firms to secure business and are looking to further scale and expand their market presence.

  • The WealthTech Accelerator is a hybrid program that combines elements of both traditional in-person and virtual accelerators. The program includes a combination of in-person and virtual components such as workshops, client prospecting meetings, mentorship sessions, and networking events. This hybrid model allows for flexibility and accessibility for participating companies.

  • The WealthTech Accelerator is 16 weeks in duration. The first four weeks consist of the “incubation” phase, in which TFA onboards the selected companies to the program, conducts an in-person meet-up, and focuses on developing each company’s pitch. The remaining three months focus on the “acceleration” phase in which TFA hosts 1:1 meetings between the selected companies and wealth management firms, technology distributors, and investors. During this phase, TFA supports the selected companies as they incorporate feedback from the meetings and navigate next steps to expedite the process between an exploratory call and practical implementation.

  • A VIP Visit is a 1:1 meeting (virtual or in-person) between a cohort company and a relevant wealth management firm, technology distributor, or investor. Each company meets with the visiting institution for 25 minutes – typically, 7-10 minutes for a pitch and 15 minutes for Q&A. Following the 25 minutes, TFA gathers feedback from the visitor to share back with the company. This unique model of VIP Visits not only provides companies with valuable feedback, but it also allows TFA to provide highly tailored support, addressing specific needs and challenges.

  • Yes, there is a fee of $10k to participate in the WealthTech Accelerator. This helps to fund the in-person gatherings TFA hosts over the course of the program.
